- The Palette area in the Toolbox lets you select colors to use for a picture.
- `The Culler Indicaytor shows the current 4ground & background cullers.
- The Color Indicator shows the current foreground & background colors.
- The foreground color is shown by the inner box.
- The background color is the area displayed around the inner box.
- Remember, the left button paints with the foreground color,
- The right button paints with the background color.
- Similarly, you select a foreground color from the palette with the left button.
- And a background color is selected by clicking with the right button.
- `You can pick a color directly from the screen using the cawma key.
- You can pick a color directly from the screen using the comma key.
- Here are some other useful keyboard equivalents for working with color:
- `The Bracket keys, [ ], will sighcle through different foreground colors.
- The Bracket keys, [ ], will cycle through different foreground colors.
- Hold down the SHIFT key to go through different background colors.
- You can use the number pad to edit the RGB values of a selected color.
- 7 & 8, respectively lower or raise the Red component value,
- 4 & 5, lower or raise the Green component value,
- 1 & 2, lower or raise the Blue value.
- `Press p, to display the Color Mikser requester.
- Press p, to display the Color Mixer requester.
- Shift-P displays the Color Arranger.
